The Formula 1 leadership will make coronavirus vaccination mandatory for all team personnel from the 2022 season.
Report informs citing the BBC that in the new season no one will be able to get into the paddock without completing a full vaccination course. The policy will apply to all personnel, including pilots, team members, and members of the media. And if the team wants to sign an agreement with an unvaccinated rider, it will not be allowed to participate in the competition.
In addition, the publication reports that the new rules will apply to high-ranking officials who attend the stages of the “royal” races, regardless of the country where they are held.
The new Formula 1 season will start on March 20 in Bahrain. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on June 10-12 in Baku.
