Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix cancelled - OFFICIAL

"We regret to inform you that the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2020 is cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic," Report says, citing Baku City Circuit Operation Company.

"We explored every opportunity to organize our favorite race in 2020. However, despite all our efforts, we realized that this would not be possible. We had to make such a decision for the health and safety of the Azerbaijani people, valuable fans and Formula 1 employees," the statement said.

Notably, besides the Azerbaijani GP, races in Japan and Singapore have also been cancelled.
