First winner at World Chess Championship named

Baku. 22 November. REPORT.AZ/ Game 8 of the World Championship between Russian Sergey Karjakin and Magnus Carlsen from Norway has ended.

Report informs, Karjakin won with black. Current world champion faced a hopeless endgame after 51st move. So, the World Championship match finally has a leader and Russian grandmaster now leads the best-of-12 match by the score of 4.5 to 3.5 point.

Notably, game 9 will be on November 23. 

The match consists a total of 12 games.
