Baku. 24 June. REPORT.AZ/ Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe may kick off in the evening time next year.

Report informs, this was stated by F1 chief promoter Formula 1 Bernie Ecclestone.

According to him, it will be more interesting to hold a street race in artificial lighting: “We need to think what else to do for a proper race in 2017. For example, the organizers could make the race track more open. They did not do it now to be secured since they did not know how things would work. I would like the race to start at 7 pm. It would be nice to see any efforts to organize Baku stage more properly. The track turned out to be very good."

Notably, the 2016 European Grand Prix was held in Baku on 17-19 June. Under the agreement, the race should be organized in Azerbaijan's capital for 4 years more.
