City to host qualifying round of European Championship on wrestling revealed

The city, which will host the qualifying round of European Championship on wrestling, has been announced, acting President of Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Namiq Aliyev told the collaborator of Report dispatched to the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan.
According to him, the decision to arrange the tournament in the Hungarian capital Budapest was made during the meeting of the United World Wrestling. In 2021 the tournament will be held in the Norwegian capital Oslo, while Russian Krasnoyarsk will host in 2022.
Notably, the European Qualification Tournament will be held in March 2020. Baku was also among the contenders for hosting the tournament. The World Qualification Tournament will be held in April 2020 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
