Competition schedule of Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games unveiled

A calendar of races and events at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games to held in Tokyo has been announced.

Report informs citing the official website of the organization that the program of the games includes 33 sport kinds. Competitions in baseball/softball, karate, surfing, rock climbing and skateboarding will be held for the first time in the history of the Olympic Games.

The opening ceremony of Tokyo 2020 will be held on July 24. Women's football and softball competitions will start two days prior to the opening ceremony,

The most final stages will be on August 1, August 2 and August 8. 21, 26 and 30 sets of medal will be awarded respectively in those days.

Most races are scheduled for morning hours due to the warm weather.

Notably, the closing ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games will be held on August 9.
