Calendar of Baku 2019 international competitions on gymnastics made public

Baku. 26 October. REPORT.AZ/ The Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has announced a calendar of international competitions to be held in 2019 in Baku.

Report informs citing the official website of the organization that the competition year will start with the World Cup on trampoline gymnastics on February 16-17. The National Gymnastics Arena will be given to the gymnasts on March 14-17. During this period the country will host the World Cups for gymnastics for the 4th time.

April and May will be remarkable for the performance of the artistic gymnasts. The World Cup will be held on 26-28 April, while the European Championship will be held on May 17-19.

This year AGF will host the European Championship on two types of gymnastics for the first time. The strongest aerobatic gymnasts from the continent will gather in Baku on May 24-26.

The European Youth Olympic Festival will be held for the first time in the capital on July 20 - 28. The gymnastics competitions to take place within the festival will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena.

The last competition is the World Cup on rhythmic gymnastics. This race will be held on September 16-22.

One of the main peculiarities of each of the three World Cups, as well as the world championships to be held in the capital, will be the license for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games
