Azerbaijani wrestler wins bronze in world championship

Baku. 15 November. REPORT.AZ/ The world wrestling championship among youth (U-23) has kicked off in Bucharest, Romania.

According to Report, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Islam Abbasov (87 kg) won bronze in the world championship.

In the fight for the third place Abbasov defeated an Egyptian opponent.

The bout ended 3:3 but as the Azerbaijani wrestler was the last to score the point, he was declared the winner.
