Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters won 3 medals in European Championship

Baku. 9 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters won three more medals in clubs’ European Championship in Antalya, Turkey. 

Report informs referring to official website of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, our sportsmen won two gold, 1 silver medals on third day of the tournament.

Members of “Gilan” club Fizam Mehtiyev (58kg) and Aykhan Tagizade (68kg) stepped on the top of the podium. Mikayil Aliyev from “Azeri” club lost only final match in 54 kg category to take silver medal.

Notably, on first two days of the tournament Azerbaijani sportsmen won in total 6 gold, 7 silver and 9 bronze medals.
