Azerbaijani sambo wrestlers won 4 medals on the first day of World Cup

Baku. 28 March. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani sambo wrestlers won 4 medals in the Russian capital, Moscow after the first day of the World Cup competitions entitled "Memorial of A. Kharlampiev".

Report informs, two members of the team were awarded with silver and two bronze medals.

In the competition for sports sambo Nasimi Umbayev (52 kg) and Emil Hasanov (68 kg) won silver medals, and Bakhtiyar Abbasov (90 kg) won bronze. In sambo wrestling Kanan Gasimov won another bronze medal for the team.

The competition will end on March 29.
