Azerbaijani representative becomes Olympic Winter Festival ambassador

The ambassadors of the European Youth Winter Olympic Festival, scheduled for 2021 in Vuokatti, Finland, have been announced, Report informs.
The candidates were evaluated by the European Olympic Committee's (EOC) Commission on Olympic Culture and Heritage and selected as the most motivated young people.
Azerbaijani volleyball player Gunay Salamova is also on the list of 25 athletes.
The festival was programmed for February 6-13 but was postponed due to coronavirus. The competition will take place on December 11-18, 2021.
Athletes aged 14-18 will take part in the festival.
