Azerbaijani team wins 7 medals in European Championship

Baku. 21 April. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani national team won 7 medals in the IV European championship in Para-Taekwondo held in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Azerbaijani Taekwondo Federation said to Report that the team won 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Nijat Muslumov (75 kg), Rovshan Gahramanli (61 kg) and Alexander Polishuk (+75 kg) rose to the highest step of the podium.

Namig Abbasov (61 kg) and Royale Fataliyeva (49 kg) were defeated by their opponents in the final battle and finished the race in the second place. Anar Huseynov (61 kg) and Vugar Adishirinov (+75 kg) took the 3rd place.

Azerbaijani national team ranked the 3rd in the competition with the participation of 89 athletes from 15 countries according to the total team score.
