National wushu team wins 5 medals in European Championship

Baku. 22 May. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani national team in wushu won 5 medals in the European Championship held in Stara Zagoria city of Bulgaria. Report informs that of the medals, 3 of medals are gold while 2 are bronze.

56-kg Elchin Eminov was the European champion for the third time. Eldar Alizade took the first place in the men's 80 kg category while Nijat Jabbarov reached the highest step in men's 65 kg category.

Vamig Garayev (52 kg) and Giyas Shahmardanov (60 kg) won bronze medals.

Starting on May 16, the European Championship will end tomorrow. The national team will return to Baku on May 24.
