Azerbaijani gymnast qualifies for final stage in World Championship

Baku. 16 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan’s gymnast Mikhail Malkin has qualified for the final stage at the European Championships in Trampoline and Tumbling in Baku.

Report informs that the gymnast became the second scoring 74.9 points, while Vadim Afanasiev from Russia became the first scoring 75.6 points.

First eight gymnasts qualified for the final stage.

More than 160 gymnasts from 30 countries will compete in AGF Trophy. Azerbaijan will be represented by five sportsmen. Veronika Zemlyanaya will represent Azerbaijan at the European Championships in trampoline competitions among women. Ilya Grishunin, Ruslan Aghamirov, Oleg Piunov, as well as Mikhail Malkin will compete in individual and Synchronized Trampoline.

On the first day, the classification stages will be held, on the second day, final stages will be held starting 12:00 p.m.
