Azerbaijan unveils Greco-Roman wrestling squad for European Championships

Baku. 24 April. REPORT.AZ/ The squad of the Azerbaijani national team on Greco-Roman wrestling for the European Championships, which will start on April 30 at the Russian city of Kaspiysk, was announced.
Report informs, head coach Shaban Donat will trust 10 wrestlers. Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg), Murad Mammadov (60 kg), Taleh Mammadov (63 kg), Elman Mukhtarov (67 kg), Rasul Chunayev (72 kg), Elvin Mursaliyev (77 kg), Rafig Huseynov (82 kg) Islam Abasov (87 kg), Orkhan Nuriyev (97 kg) and Turman Eyyubov (130 kg) will go to Dagestan.
Notably, qualifying matches will be held on April 30, for 55 kg, 63 kg, 77 kg, 87 kg and 130 kg, on May 1 for 60 kg, 67 kg, 72kg, 82kg and 97 kg. Meetings for medal will take place on May 1 and 2, respectively.
