61-year-old athlete sets new age record in Olympic games

The 61-year-old Ni Xialian from Luxembourg defeated 31-year-old Turkish athlete Sibel Altinkaya in the second round of the table tennis tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The match, which lasted 49 minutes, ended with a score of 4-2 in favor of Ni.
Born in China, Ni Xialian has become the oldest player ever to win a table tennis match at the Olympics.
