100 athletes tested positive for mildronate

Baku. 15 March. REPORT.AZ/ 100 athletes have tested positive for mildronate, which has been banned from January 1, 2016.
Report informs, Ben Nichols, Head of Public Relations Department of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) stated on his personal account of the social network.
The list includes names of 14 famous athletes. Russia is represented by 10 athletes. 10 Russian athletes have been tested positive for doping. Earlier, doping-tests of 99 athletes caused positive.
Notably, mildronate is used to increase tolerance against physical and mental loadings during heavy competitions.
