Work to extinguish fire in mountaneous area in Gabala continues

A fire broke out in a mountainous area with the complex terrain close to the Solgudja village of Gabala.

Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations, that the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry, civil defense troops and respective forces of the Northwestern regional center, two helicopters of the aviation unit, as well as the employees of the forestry center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and a group of residents were immediately attracted to the scene.

By preliminary information, the blaze covers dry vegetation and bushes. Urgent measures to extinguish the fire continue.
