Victim: Armenians forced us not to speak of negative things on TV channels

"I was wounded in the Fuzuli fights in 1994," victim Zahid Hasanov said.

He was speaking during the court trial on the case of Armenian service members - Mkrtichyan Ludwig Mkrtichovich and Khosrovyan Alyosha Aramaisovich, who are charged with inhuman treatment and torturing of Azerbaijanis detained during the First Karabakh War.

"When I was wounded, I was ambushed and taken hostage by Armenians. I had heavy gun wounds in my head, shoulder, and back. They first took me to a Khankandi hospital and then to the Shusha prison. For the first time, I saw Alyosha there. There were some visitors from a TV channel, and they forced us not to speak of negative things. I objected, and they beat me. Mkrtichyan Ludwig was torturing me by hitting me with his heavy shoes," the victim said.
