Turkey presents 10 mine detection dogs to Azerbaijan

A group of 23 pyrotechnics and sappers of the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) returned to Azerbaijan after completing a Special Mine Exploration and Clearance Course organized by the Baku Armed Forces Attaché of the Main Headquarters of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told Report that Employees of the MES, who took part in the Sapper School and Training Center Command courses in Izmir on January 3-29, improved their knowledge and demining skills. At the end of the program, the staff was awarded certificates of completion of the training process.

Besides, ten specially trained mine-sweeping dogs were presented to the Azerbaijani MES by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense within bilateral cooperation. Preparations are underway for sending MES cynologists to Turkey to bring the dogs to our country, as well as increase their abilities in the relevant field.
