Turkey launches next phase of Operation Eren

The 24th phase of the winter season of anti-terrorist operations Eren has begun in Turkey's southeastern Siirt province, Report informs citing the Anadolu Agency.
The purpose of the operation is the complete elimination of the threat of terrorism in this part of Turkey, according to the Interior Ministry.
In general, 39 gendarmerie detachments, consisting of 545 people, are searching the Akmese area in order to identify and eliminate PKK militants.
