Traffic to be restricted on some streets and avenues of Baku on the day of Khojaly genocide anniversary

Baku. 24 February. REPORT.AZ/ On February 26, traffic will be restricted in some streets and avenues of Baku due to the events to be held on occasion of anniversary of Khojaly genocide.

Report was told by Chief of the Public Relations Department of the Baku City State Traffic Police Office (BCSTPO),Vagif Asadov.

The Baku City State Traffic Police Office informed that, in order to secure comfortable, safe and uninterrupted movement of participants of the national mourning ceremony which will take place on Feb. 26 in front of the “Ana harayı” (Mother’s cry) monument situated in the Khojaly avenue, from 8:00 AM to till the end of the ceremony, movement from the streets of Yusif Safarov, Najafqulu Rafiyev, Afiyaddin Jalilov, Izzet khanim Orujova, Fazail Bayramov, Sabit Orujov to the Khojaly avenue will be restricted and the direction changed.

The BCSTPO recommends citizens make less use of personal cars and instead use public transport in the aforesaid directions.
