State Migration Service: 23% increase observed in number of people living based on refugee status in Azerbaijan

Baku. 19 July. REPORT.AZ/ "23% increase has been observed in the number of people living based on refugee status in Azerbaijan".

Report informs, chief of the State Migration Service, Vusal Huseynov said at the event on the results of the first half of this year.

He said that at present the number of such people is 75: "There were 61 people in the corresponding period of last year".

According to the chief of the State Migration Service, relevant decisions have been made against 9603 foreigners and stateless persons who have violated the requirements of migration legislation, as well as Azerbaijani citizens: "This means 2% increase compared to the previous period".
