SBS prevents drug smuggling to Azerbaijan

The State Border Service (SBS) has prevented an attempt to smuggle drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan.

Report was told in the SBS, three citizens of Azerbaijan, Shirinov Ramil Imamverdi, born in 1978, Eyvazov Intigam Eldar, born in 1970 and Abdullayev Gurban Jamil, born in 1974, were detained as suspects at the frontier post near the village of Bahram-tepe of the Imishli region.

6 kg 330 grams of dried marijuana and 55 seeds of drugs were seized from them.

Operational and investigative measures continue in fact, a criminal case has been initiated against the detainees.
