Restriction on yellow lanes for Baku 2017 Games abolished

Baku. 23 May. REPORT.AZ/ Restriction imposed on traffic on special lanes marked with yellow line has been abolished today, on May 23, 2017 at 12:00 Baku time in order to ensure comfortable and uninterrupted movement of vehicles in Baku city.

Report informs citing the Main Traffic Police Department (MTPD).

Police colonel Vagif Asadov, Department Chief of the Main Traffic Police Department of the Main Police Department of Baku city (MPD MTPD), told Report that 1319 drivers violating rules of the yellow lanes fined: "This number is less compared to the penalties during the Games in the past years. This is due to improvement of driver discipline in the capital city".

Notably, except operational vehicles and the vehicles involved in the Games, other vehicles were banned to move on "Games Lanes" from May 5 due to "Baku-2017", the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games.
