Prosecutor General: Trials of war criminals conducted within Azerbaijan's laws and international conventions

The trials of those accused of war crimes are being carried out within the framework of national laws and international conventions, Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev told journalists.

Report quotes the prosecutor general as saying the cases are currently under the court's jurisdiction. "It would not be appropriate to say anything further. The trials are being conducted in accordance with the country's laws and international conventions," he stated.
