It was noted that after the earthquakes occurred in Aghsu and Shamakhi regions on February 5, aftershocks continue in the territory: “As the Republican Seismological Service Center under ANAS, we declare that no strong and destructive earthquakes are expected, despite the continuation of aftershocks in the quake-affected area. As we informed before, it is possible that some of the aftershocks are felt and such tremors have been recorded. Seismological observations are underway in the affected area. It is impossible that recorded tremors will be destructive. So we urge all the public, mass media and citizens to not believe in provocative news and to refer to the official website of the Republic Seismological Service Center when spreading information about the earthquake.
