Ministry of Emergency Situations to shift to enhanced mode due to weather conditions

Baku. 16 January. REPORT.AZ/ The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) will operate in an enhanced mode for two days due to weather conditions.

Report informs citing the Ministry that Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov issued a relevant decree in this regard.

It was noted that, according to the warning issued by the National Hydrometeorological Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that emergency rescue services and regional centers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will work in reinforced working mode on January 17-18 to provide safety of life and activity of citizens and to detect and prevent possible extraordinary events and cases, as well as timely detection and operational removal of their possible consequences in connection with the expected hydrometeorological event in  Absheron Peninsula, the Caspian Sea Aquatics and in the regions of our republic.
