Milli Majlis has discussed draft amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses at today's plenary meeting of the extraordinary session.
According to Report, article 211 of the Code is presented in a new version (violation of the anti-epidemiological, sanitary-hygienic, and quarantine regime).
By new edition, individuals will be fined from 200 to 400 AZN for violation of sanitary-hygienic and quarantine regimes, while officials from 3,000 to 4,000 AZN.
At present, fines for violating anti-epidemic, sanitary-hygienic, and quarantine regimes range from 100 to 200 AZN for individuals, while 1,500 to 2,000 AZN for officials.
According to another amendment, administrative offenses will be imposed for up to one month, taking into account the perpetrator's identity. Legal entities will be charged from 4,000 to 10,000 AZN.
Following consultations, the Parliament adopted amendments to the Code through voting.
