Moscow. 7 January. REPORT.AZ/ The identity of the citizens of Azerbaijan who were injured in a minibus crash in Stavropol region of Russia, the details of the incident and condition of the wounded were announced.

In a statement to the Russian bureau of Report, the chairman of the Araz society of Azerbaijan, Tahmasib Zeynalov reported that the incident occurred on January 6 at 12:00 local time on the Kochubey-Mineralnye Vody road near the city of Levokumsk.

A minibus moving along the Baku-Moscow route lost control, crashed into a tree and overturned. 12 citizens of Azerbaijan were in the car. 4 of them with severe injuries were placed in the city hospital Budennovsk. They are the citizens of Azerbaijan, driver Musayev Vugar Zahir born in 1979, passengers Mammadov Mikayil Bilal, 1984, Mustafayev Musa Bahram and Mustafayev Eldar Musa. The rest four were sent to Moscow, three were placed by the diaspora in a hotel in Levokumsk, 1 was sent to Azerbaijan. Zeynalov said that the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan was sensitive to the incident and actively dealt with it: "As local diaspora organizations, we are doing everything necessary to accommodate and treat those who suffered in the accident."

He noted that the condition of 4 injured is currently severe, they are under the strict medical supervision.  Once the documents are returned to the rest of the citizens accommodated in hotels, they will be sent back home.
