Headquarters: 390 people evacuated after Bayil landslide

Baku. 25 January. REPORT.AZ/ A special headquarters established in the Sabail District Executive Power took appropriate measures yesterday in connection with the danger of landslide in the existing sliding zone in Bayil residential area .

Report informs referring to the headquarters, first of all, the area has been studied by experts and 67 houses have been identified in the risky area of Bayil slope.

Taking into account additional security measures, Sabail District Executive Power evacuated 80 families, namely 390 family members: "34 families consist of IDPs. Most of the evacuated people settled in homes of their relatives. Currently, 42 people settled in the temporary shelter created by the Executive Power. Household and nutrition issues have been solved, medical post set up in the shelter".

It is reported that these cases occur regularly in the active landslide zones in Baku.
