Hand grenade neutralized in Baku

A hand grenade was neutralized in Baku, Azerbaijan, according to a joint statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Penitentiary Service, Report informs.

During a search operation conducted by the Penitentiary Service under the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, an M-75 hand grenade, an explosive device, 18 automatic bullets (7.62 mm), and a machine gun were found under a bridge in the Narimanov district of Baku. These items belonged to Rizayev Nurlan Alirza oghlu.

The hand grenade was safely neutralized by the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The incident is currently under investigation.
