Foreigners committing cyber attacks on ATMs detained

Officers of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime have detained two foreign nationals in operation conducted against members of the international cybercrime network, the press service of the Interior Ministry told Report.
The culprits were identified as Bulgarian citizens Stoychev Marian Nikolov and Mladenov Vladislav Tsvetanov.
The investigation revealed that the cyber criminals broke into the ATMs of various banks in Baku, attempting to loot large sums of money.
The criminals were arrested facing charges under Articles 272.3, 177.2.3, and 177.2.1 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
