Baku police conduct raids in supermarkets

Police carry out enhanced control and preventive measures on the streets and avenues of the capital, the roads of the districts, indoors, and supermarkets to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, Report says, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Persons who do not observe social distancing in supermarkets and do not use personal respiratory protective equipment are brought to administrative responsibility under the law.
During the raid, police punished persons who entered the market without masks and employees of the facilities who ignored the requirements under the law. Moreover, police instructed to restore non-working cash registers to prevent queues and maintain social distance in the markets.
Notably, it is necessary to use personal protective equipment - medical masks to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection among people.  Police officers again warned supermarkets about the need to operate in strict compliance with sanitary and hygienic rules.
Otherwise, those individuals and the owners of the enclosed premises will be severely punished.
