Azerbaijani police officer shoots his wife to death 

A police officer has shot his wife to death at the police department in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing Interior Ministry.

Ismayil Mammadov, an officer of the Post Patrol Service of the Nizami District Police Office, received information that his wife, Khanim Mammadova, came to the 24th Police Department at around 9 am today to complain about him over a family dispute.

He immediately came to the department and shot Mammadova to death using his service gun. Mammadov was detained. An investigation has been launched into the fact.
