Azerbaijani court jails former judge for 10 years over killing of wife

A court in Baku has found a former district judge guilty of killing his wife and sentenced him to 10 years in jail.
The trial of former judge of Baku’s Sabunchu District Court, Fagan Ahmadov, ended today in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes.
Fagan Ahmadov will serve his jail term in a high security prison.
A criminal case under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code was launched by the Prosecutor-General's Office over the premeditated murder of Baku resident, Parvana Ahmadova.
