Azerbaijan sprays 1,000 tons of water to Turkey's fire-affected areas

Azerbaijan has supplied 1,000 tonnes of water to the fire-affected areas in Turkey, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Etibar Mirzayev told Report's Turkish bureau.
He noted that one helicopter and one amphibia airplane of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations are currently working in Turkey's areas affected by the blaze.
"134 flight operations have been carried out by helicopter, with 332 tons of water sprayed to the fire areas. The amphibia airplane conducted 76 flight operations, spreading 615 tons of water to the fire-affected areas. In general, nearly 1,000 tons of water have been distributed to the fire-affected sites by Azerbaijani aircraft," the official noted.
