Azerbaijan sees sharp rise in payments on property insurance against fire and other risks

In January-June 2019, Azerbaijan-based insurers collected AZN 21,055,600 of premiums from property insurance against fire and other risks, down 34% from previous year, Report informs citing the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).
Payments on property insurance against fire and other risks in the reporting period amounted to AZN 1,239,000, up 2.6-fold from a year earlier.
