Azerbaijan, Georgia checkpoints closed

All border checkpoints on Georgia's border with Azerbaijan have been closed for traffic, local bureau of Report says, citing the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

According to the Ministry, ground and air transportation was suspended from 5 to April 20 to prevent the coronavirus spread in Azerbaijan. These restrictions do not apply to cargo transportation.

The Red Bridge, Lagodekhi, Samtskaro, and Mtkvari border checkpoints on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border are not open to individuals.

Notably, from March 25, only the "Red Bridge" border checkpoint was open from 10:00 to 12:00.
