Another 609 mines found in liberated territories

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has found 609 more mines in the liberated territories last week, Report informs.

During the demining operations carried out March 13-25 in Tartar, Agdam, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, 209 anti-personnel mines, 400 anti-tank mines and 469 unexploded ordnance were found and destroyed.

As a result, 1,126 hectares of territories were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
