In 2024, 41 people became victims of Armenia's mine terror, Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev said during an extended board meeting at the Prosecutor General's Office dedicated to the work done in 2024 by prosecution authorities in fighting crime, investigation work, prosecutorial supervision, and upcoming tasks, Report informs.
The prosecutor general stated that 41 people became victims of mine and military ammunition explosions in 2024.
Of these, 5 people died, and 36 people received various degrees of bodily injuries.
The prosecutor general also noted that 382 people have become victims of mine and military ammunition explosions since November 2020 until now, of whom 70 died and 312 received various degrees of bodily injuries.
