Uber reduces loss to $ 3.3 billion in 2018

Baku. 16 February. REPORT.AZ / Net loss of Uber taxi service decreased from $ 4.5 billion to $3.3 billion in 2018.

The publication clarifies that the indicator does not take into account the profit gained from the sale of assets in Russia and South-East Asia.

In the fourth quarter of last year, Uber’s revenue increased by 25% anually and made $3.02 billion, while uarterly net loss decreased by 19.2% and was $865 million.

"Last year was the most successful for us, and another record was set on the number of people using our service in the fourth quarter," Chief financial officer of Uber Nelson Chai said.
