Starlink director visits Baku to discuss broadband internet expansion

The possibility of establishing Starlink's satellite broadband internet service in Azerbaijan has been discussed, Rashad Nabiyev, the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the country, said on X.
The discussions took place during a meeting in Baku between the minister and Rebecca Slick Hunter, Starlink's Director for Global Licensing and Market Activation, who is currently visiting the city.
Starlink, a project by Elon Musk's SpaceX, aims to provide high-speed internet access to remote and underserved areas worldwide through a constellation of low-Earth orbit satellites.
