Pakistani technology companies invited to create research centers in Azerbaijan 

Azerbaijan invites Pakistani IT companies to create research centers in the country, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, said at the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Technology Forum, Report informs.

It was noted that researching business opportunities is a continuous process. This requires the regular exchange of information and the promotion of direct links between business communities. The Azerbaijan-Pakistan Technology Forum will serve as an effective platform to promote such information exchange and facilitate new business relationships.

The forum was attended by the representatives of companies engaging in different spheres in both countries.

Yusif Abdullayev, Acting President of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), Bilal Haye, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Khurram Bhatti, the president of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Economic Cooperation Chamber (PAKAZCHAM), Orkhan Mammadov, the chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy, Zeeshan Rehman Khattak, Cheif Commercial Officer at Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) made speeches.

The technology companies of Azerbaijan and Pakistan held presentations within the framework of the event. The forum continued with meetings in B2B and B2G format.

The Azerbaijan-Pakistan Technology Forum was organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, AZPROMO, the Embassy of Pakistan in Azerbaijan, and PAKAZCHAM.
