Laptop production skyrockets in Azerbaijan amidst global tech trends

According to a recent report by the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the country has seen a significant surge in laptop manufacturing.

Report informs citing the document that during the first five months of 2023, Azerbaijan produced an impressive 883 laptops, marking a staggering 2.8-fold increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

Interestingly, while laptop production soared, the manufacturing of personal computers in Azerbaijan experienced a decline. From January to May, the country produced 658 personal computers, a 77.6% decrease compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

This shift in focus towards laptops aligns with the global trend of increasing demand for portable computing devices.

The month of May alone witnessed a remarkable 73% increase in laptop production compared to April, with 52 laptops rolling out of Azerbaijani factories.
