Intel introduces new high-speed SSD-drives

Baku. 19 August. REPORT.AZ/ Intel during the conference Intel Developer today announced the production of a new version of SSD-drives, in which memory will be a thousand times more than the speed and durability of flash memory, Report informs referring to the portal The Tech Report.

The new drive is based on the memory 3D Xpoint, technology which has been developed jointly with Micron.The device will be released under the new brand Optane.

It is expected that the product will be available to consumers in 2016.
