European Commission hits Google with 1.49bn euro fine

The European Commission fined Google a record amount of 1.49 billion euros, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.
The penalty is imposed for breaching EU antitrust rules in particular, for abuse of a dominant position in the online advertising market.
