EU abolishes roaming charges

Baku. 15 June. REPORT.AZ/ Roaming in the territory of the European Union has become free of charge from today for subscribers of local mobile communication companies, Report informs citing the EU Council statement.
Preparation for the abolition, which came into force on June 15, began two years ago.
Notably, after complete abolition of roaming charges, the European Commission also intends to provide free Internet in large European cities by 2020.
