A cyber investigation department has begun operating within Azerbaijan's State Security Service, an official said.
Report informs that Davud Rustamov, head of the National Cybersecurity Center of the State Security Service, made the remarks during panel discussions held as part of the 4th National Cybersecurity Forum in Baku.
Rustamov said both procedural cyber investigation, including the investigative part and inspection-search measures, and cyber examination would operate together.
"The cyber investigation and cyber examination divisions are expected to work in tandem in this area to achieve significant progress in countering cyber threats, especially serious APT-type cyber threats," he said.
