China: Digital yuan used to buy plane ticket for first time

For the first time in China, a plane ticket was purchased via digital yuan, Report states, citing Penpay news website.
Spring Airlines has accepted payment in digital yuan. This marked the beginning of the use of Chinese cryptocurrency in civil aviation.
A plane ticket for the Shanghai-Shenzhen flight in digital yuan was 560 yuan (about $ 86).
China is one of the world leaders in the field of digital currency. The digital currency created by the country can be used without a mobile connection signal and Internet access.
